Buddy: Hello everyone! Being a 100% Elf means having the Christmas spirit beating strong in your heart, just like I say in my motto! I’m always ready to
build gifts, organize games, and spread cheer to every corner of the Kingdom. But it’s not just that: it also means always finding a solution, smiling, and never giving up… not even when faced with a thousand problems! Christmas, to me, is the celebration of optimism and joy, and I’m here to make sure every child and adult can experience it in the best way possible. Thanks to Lucy’s light, always shining above us, and to Santa Claus’ dedication, we can bring this joy everywhere — even into the most distant hearts!
Buddy: Oh, once we built a magic train for the Sfatichinis! They were working so hard in the coal mine for Dr.Krampy, and they seemed a bit tired and sad. So together with Pretty and Bon Bon, we decided to surprise them with a candy train, all made of sugar and candy canes. Every time a Sfatichini hopped on board, the train would play their song “Hey Ho Sfatichini", and colorful lights would turn on along the tracks. It was a huge success! The Sfatichinis laughed so much… even Dr. Krampy, when he saw them on the train, couldn’t help but smile… though of course he started grumbling right after!

Buddy: Ah, well, the secret is simple: being grateful for every moment! When you’re lucky enough to live in the Kingdom of Santa Claus, surrounded by friends like Pretty, Lucy, Lampo, Steve, and even the grumpy Dr. Krampy, you just can’t help but feel happy! Sure, there are days when it’s harder, but then I think about how much love we can bring to the world, and that gives me the strength to move forward with a big smile!
Buddy: Exactly! I just don’t understand them. Christmas is not just a holiday, it’s a state of mind, a feeling! But you know, even though I don’t always get along with those who don’t believe, I always try to change their minds with my enthusiasm. Take Dr. Krampy: he’s the king of the grumps, always with a scowly face. But deep down, I still believe there’s a bit of Christmas spirit hidden inside him. It’s such a shame, because grown-ups who forget that they’re still kids at heart miss out on so many wonderful things… most of all, the ability to be amazed! That’s where magic is born.
Buddy: The hardest part? Oh, I’d say it’s when the gifts don’t turn out as perfect as I want! It’s not easy to build flawless toys every time, but if something goes wrong, it’s usually because I took myself a bit too seriously. But I don’t get discouraged — I always find a solution, maybe with the help of Steve the Candy Cane, who’s a genius at making everything lighter and more fun. And of course there’s Henry the Nutcracker, whose discipline and precision always remind me to stay focused. When these two things are in balance, every 100% Elf can give their very best!
Buddy: Oh yes! Lucy, Pretty, and I are practically inseparable! Lucy is amazing — with her special light, she always guides us, especially when she notices we need a little extra magic. And Pretty, well, she’s the only one who can really get close to Lucy and place her on top of the Christmas tree — she’s the sweetest and wisest of us all. We often work together, especially when there are big projects or special gifts to deliver. We’re an unbeatable trio!
Buddy: Well, apart from the usual things like building toys, I love our secret game: the WishCatching. Pretty, Lucy, and I always play it secretly in the Hall of Enchantment. We use a magic fishing rod to catch wishes from the Magisphere and pass them in front of Lucy. She fulfills them right away, but we have to be very careful! Let me tell you about one time: during a game, we accidentally caught Dr. Krampy’s wish, and without realizing it I helped turn all of Santa Claus’ Kingdom into Santalloween’s Kingdom! Luckily, we managed to bring everything back to normal, but it was an important lesson: wishes are powerful and must be handled with great care.
Buddy: Oh yes! Pranks are the spice of life, as Steve the Candy Cane would say! I especially love pulling little pranks on Henry the Nutcracker, who is always so serious and proper. Once, Steve and I filled his hat with sugar candies. You should have seen his face when he put it on without realizing it was full! But even Krampy is a great “target” for our jokes. I always leave him little surprises in the coal mine tunnels… just to remind him that a smile never hurts!
Buddy: Oh, there are so many!!! But now that you ask, two really come to mind. One night, while we were out delivering gifts, Santa told me: ‘Buddy, never forget that the true magic of Christmas is not in the gifts, but in the love and generosity with which you prepare them.’ Since that day, every time I wrap a gift, I put all my energy and love into it, because I know that’s what truly makes Christmas special.
And I owe so much to Pretty! She’s a truly wise friend, and once she gave me the most precious advice of all: ‘Buddy, sometimes you need to pause for a moment and look at the light you carry inside. You don’t have to do everything in a hurry — the most important thing is to remember why we do it.’ And she was right! When I stop and see how much magic there is in what we do, I feel my heart shining like Lucy’s star. That’s the moment I understand that even the smallest gesture can make a huge difference.
Buddy: My message to all the children is: never stop believing in the magic of Christmas! Even as you grow up, remember that love, kindness, and joy are the true magic that always stays with us. If you keep the spirit of Christmas in your heart, you’re a real 100% Elfetto just like me! And remember, there are no problems — only solutions!
If your love for Xmas is true and pure, you’re a 100% Elf! I know for sure!
